The Process

Pre-Production

Pre-production is the process of planning the elements involved in a film or television. Everything from finalizing the script to location scouting to scheduling the shoot is done in pre-production. Pre-production ends when the planning ends and the content starts being produced.

Production is when the film is created and shot and what many people think of when they think of "making a movie." In this phase it is key to keep planning ahead of the daily shoot. The primary aim is to stick to the budget and schedule.

Post-Production

Post-production includes all stages of production occurring after shooting or recording individual program segments. This includes incorporating CGI and special effects, touching up shots if something got missed on set, and sound design and music being added to be "audience ready."

Classes

You will be taught a one month course on the fundamentals of film-making.

From script writing, pre-production, basic cinematography, producing, etc.

​

Courses are divided up into two sections.

The First Section curriculum is geared towards teaching and preparing students for a feature length production.

​

The other section, we will help and guide students into producing their own content.
